Elena’s Goodbye Gift To LauRen Will Make You Cry
Taking Elena to the airport was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. And yes it played out as dramatically as it did in my head. The waterworks were in full force and we held hands as we checked in her luggage. Watching her walk away down the terminal to the TSA line will forever be etched in my heart and my head.
To commemorate our parting, Dallas and I got Elena a bracelet with Cash, Elena, and Jax’s initials on it, and another with a USA flag.
However, what she got us in return rocked my world. I dare you to try to watch the below video without crying. It can’t be done. I’ve tried multiple times.
Elena had a song written for us called Coolmazing (which is my oldest son Cashton’s catchphrase) and then she went one step further and made a music video of photos and clips we have lived during our time together.
