North Carolina Has Some of the Best Drivers In The Country While South Carolina Has Some of the Worst
Look, I don’t make the rules. Science backs this one up!
One of the first things we noticed when the pandemic started is that traffic was almost non existent. Now that life as we knew it is starting to resume and people are starting to take Summer vacations, traffic is coming back with more drivers on the road.
An online insurance marketplace, QuoteWizard, recently released its annual report of the best and worst drivers by state. The method behind this was they analyzed 2 million car insurance quotes in the 70 largest cities in the country and then broke down that data using 4 factors: accidents, speeding tickets, DUIs and traffic citations.
I don’t know how Charlotte, North Carolina made the Top 20 list for the BEST drivers in the country, but we did. Charlotte came in at #20 for the best drivers in the country. They’re not the only North Carolina city that made the top 20 though. Coming in at #15 was Greensboro for the best drivers!
When it comes to the worst drivers in the country, Greenville, South Carolina came in at #27!
