NCIS Is Now Investigating High Explosives Missing From Marine Base

High powered explosives have gone missing from the largest Marine base in the country.
Training exercises were underway two weeks ago when ten pounds of an explosive were unaccounted for. The Marine Corp Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, California notified local authorities of the possible theft but left them out of the investigation.
NCIS is taking over the investigation. Early reports named the explosives as C4 and also suggested the investigation was focused on theft. Those details are unconfirmed.
