Woman Warns Others After Using Gorilla Glue On Hair
Well this seems like common sense but okay!
After getting her hair just the way she wanted it styled, a woman realized she was out of her usual hairspray and thought she could swap it for a similar product. But Tessica Brown had learned the hard way that Gorilla Glue adhesive spray is not a good substitute for Got2b Glued Freeze Spray. In a now-viral TikTok video, she explains that her hair has been stuck in the same style for about a month and “it’s not by choice.”
“Bad, bad, bad idea,” Brown says. “Y’all, look. My hair…it don’t move. I’ve washed my hair 15 times, and it don’t move.” That video has gotten more than 16-million views and while her hair still looks fantastic in it, she advises “don’t ever, ever use this unless you want your hair to be like that forever.”
Since that first video went viral days ago, Brown has followed up with several more to keep followers posted on her progress. In one TikTok, she tries to wash the Gorilla Glue out, with no luck and in another video, she thanks people for their support and ideas to try to help her get rid of her “forever ponytail.” An update clip reveals she actually went to the hospital for help and a friend was using products from the hospital to try to remove the spray adhesive from her hair and it looks pretty painful. She hasn’t yet posted a video showing the results, but hopefully something works, and she doesn’t end up bald.
