Hallmark Channel Is Unwrapping Its “Countdown To Christmas” This Week
Every year, people complain that Christmas starts too early. They don’t like seeing the holiday decorations going up in stores before Halloween. They don’t like hearing Christmas music before Thanksgiving. But this year is different, for obvious reasons.
I, for one, am in favor of getting a head start on the holiday season. So, too, is the Hallmark Channel. The network known for its Christmas movies is kicking off its 2020 “Countdown to Christmas” this Friday (10/23) at noon with 2019’s Merry & Bright, starring Jodie Sweetin of Full House fame.
The Hallmark Channel is also getting ready to unwrap a host of brand new Christmas titles. The first new movie of the 2020 holiday season airs Saturday night (10/24) at 8:00 PM and is called Jingle Bell Bride. According to the description, it’s about a wedding planner (Julie Gonzalo) who travels to a remote town in Alaska to find a rare flower for a celebrity client and is charmed by the small town during Christmas, as well as the handsome local (Ronnie Rowe, Jr.) helping her. Classic Hallmark formula. Here’s a peek:
