The holidays are a time that for one reason or another, we all attempt to become bakers. From cookies, to cakes, to pies, we are all whipping up some delicious sweets this holiday season.

Last year, I decided to make gingerbread cookie for the first time, and I absolutely fell in love. Honestly, I didn’t even know that I liked gingerbread cookie this much until I made these cookies last year. I’ve already been asked to share my recipe twice this season, so I figured why not share the love with you too?

If i’m being honest, I totally stole this recipe from a YouTube video I saw. I loved that these gingerbread cookies were still moist and soft, not hard and crunchy like ones that i’ve had in the past.

While making these cookies is a bit of a timely process, if you’re trying to impress the family this year with some delicious cookies, you should definitely try out this recipe, and let me know how it goes!
