WATCH: Couple Married 60 Years Reunites After 215 Days Apart

Absence makes the heart grow fonder, even after six decades. After 215 long days, Joseph Loreth has finally been reunited with his wife of 60 years, Eve, at their assisted living center in Brandon, Florida.
The couple had only communicated through phone calls and a few window visits since Joseph had surgery and was in rehabilitation at the facility. Eve was moved in during that time, but they weren’t allowed to see each other until the 80-year-old fully recovered. And when they finally got to hug each other again, it was a heartwarming reunion filled with happy tears.
“I sure missed you,” said Joseph to his wife. “For 60 years I’ve done something right.”
