“Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” To Pay Tribute To Regis Philbin
“Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” returns to ABC Sunday night and the premiere episode will feature a tribute to the show’s former host, Regis Philbin, who passed away in July at the age of 88.
Michael Davies, who produced both the original series on ABC and the current installment, says it was important to current host Jimmy Kimmel to pay tribute to Philbin.
“We give him an emotional sendoff on the stage and the studio he owned. We’re all here because of Regis Philbin and we all know that.” Check out the tribute below.
