Avon Has A New $1,200 Perfume
In the world of fragrances, Avon is already a big player with nearly 40 perfumes on the brand’s website. The scents range from $17 to $50 and while those low price points make them more appealing, now Avon is coming out with a new perfume with a much higher price tag. Get ready for their newest fragrance, Charmed, which sells for $12-hundred!
So what makes this particular perfume so much more expensive than all the other ones Avon makes? Part of it is the actual eau de parfum, which is made with three orpur natural ingredients – these are what the industry calls the highest-quality and purest ingredients. Charmed contains rose, jasmine and patchouli, but it’s not just what’s inside, but the bottle itself that raises the price.
This perfume is a “celebration” of 134 years of Avon, so it’s packaging is a reflection of that. Charmed comes in an ornate column with an 18K gold-plated peacock sitting on top and its tail is embellished with 21 Swarovski crystals and that’s packaged inside a lovely wooden collectible box. If you’re willing to drop a mortgage payment amount of money on this fragrance, be ready when it officially launches in October because they’re only making 18-hundred 86-bottles of it, a nod to Avon being founded in 1886. And there’s already a waitlist, where you can get in line.
