You Could Find Love Playing Words With Friends
You never know where you might find love and for one couple, it was a popular word game that brought them together. Winston and Susie Jones connected while playing Words with Friends, first meeting online back in 2017. Both being fans of the Scrabble-inspired game, the strangers hit off right from the start.
Soon the Massachusetts man and woman from New Hampshire started chatting and after four months and dozens of shared games, they exchanged phone numbers. Winston and Susie talked for hours and decided to meet up in real life for a date. It was a success and the lovebirds have been together ever since. “I haven’t run out of things to say yet,” he says.
She admits, “I would’ve never thought that I would meet someone online.” But the couple saw a future together and got engaged last September. They had to postpone their original wedding date in June, but Winston and Susie are now newlyweds after tying the knot on August 29th. Aside from more rounds of the game that brought them together, they’re planning to take a honeymoon to Italy and Switzerland, as soon as that’s possible again.
