Airport Tests Smart Helmet To Detect Fever From A Distance
Taking temperature just got high-tech.
Michigan’s Bishop International Airport is going to be the first to have a smart helmet visor that can detect a fever from a distance. Airport director Nino Sapone says it’s a “game-changer” and adds the police will have the flexibility to walk through the terminal to randomly select people.
The temperature scans show up on the visor. The helmet also has facial recognition and license plate technology.
