You Can Live On An Island And Get Paid For It
An Australia conservation group wants to pay you to live in paradise.
The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority is looking for a caretaker to live on an “isolated tropical island” off the coast of Queensland. Although you get to live on the island called Low Isles, the group says maintaining the island takes hard work.
Some of the duties include maintaining infrastructure, grounds work, and count bird populations. You must also be able to live sustainably. You’ll also have to handle tourists.
The application documents are available on the Australian Government’s AusTender website and submissions must be lodged by 3 pm on Friday, September 25.
