Krispy Kreme Worker Runs Doughnut Through Glazer 25 Times
For many folks, there’s nothing better than a freshly glazed Krispy Kreme doughnut, hot out of the fryer. But what would happen if a doughnut was put through the glazer a few extra times? Well, one Krispy Kreme employee decided to find out.
Jack Jones posted a video to TikTok that shows an Orignal Glazed doughnut being glazed over and over again. He then followed up this video with another, in which he and his friends attempt to eat the resulting pile of frosting with a small doughnut underneath.
The doughnut was glazed 25 times and Jones says it took over an hour to complete. Once the doughnut was all glazed up, it was too heavy to sit in a bag without breaking it. Wow!
Obviously Jones was having a slow day at work. He did let his shift manager what he was doing. I think the folks at Krispy Kreme are cool with his experiment because the video has gone viral.
There are two videos: one of the doughnuts going through the glazer, which is oddly calming, and one of some employees trying the glazed monstrosity. Both videos have been viewed over 4 million times. The glazing video is below and you can see the guys trying the overly glazed pastry here. Could you eat this? Ugh!
