The Weeknd Looks Back Over His Career In The New ‘Snowchild’ Video
The Weeknd’s “Snowchild” video is out, and in the clip, the singer takes fans on an animated trip through his career. Per Rolling Stone, “the visual gives an illustrated look at Tesfaye’s many personas, from his Trilogy beginnings in Toronto through his Starboy era in Hollywood, up until the red-suited, debauched character associated with After Hours.”
They add that “Snowchild” is directed by the D’ART Shtajio studio, which is the first black-owned animation studio in Japan.
The Weeknd is set to appear on the upcoming season finale of Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken. The show will air Sunday (July 26). As we reported, the singer also recently lent his voice and did a song on American Dad.
