DMX to Battle Snoop Dogg in Next Verzuz Battle
DMX is currently slated to battle Snoop Dogg in the next Verzuz battle. On Tuesday (July 14), the Verzuz battle was announced on Verzuz’s official Instagram page.
The battle between the two MCs will take place on Wednesday, July 22, and it will be aired on both Instagram and Apple TV in HD. The event is also sponsored by Diddy’s vodka Ciroc.
Verzuz is calling this celebration a “battle of the dogs.” “The battle of the dogs ‼️‼️ [DMX] vs [Snoop Dogg] Wednesday, July 22nd,” the caption of the Instagram post read. “Watch on our IG or in HD on @AppleMusic. Drinks by @Ciroc.”
Prior to Snoop Dogg posting about the battle on his Instagram page, he shared a photo of himself with DMX and wrote, “Doggs4life” in the caption. He also posted the official battle flyer and wrote, “I ain’t got no dogg in this fight! Yes, u do who u got ???”

He also shared the 1998 cover of Vibe magazine where both DMX and Snoop were featured in the cover story entitled “Big Doggs!,” as well as another photo of the two rappers.
