Nobody ever said that being on a school board was easy but parents are a bit outraged after a member of an Oklahoma City school board was caught drinking a beer during a recent meeting.
School board member Linda Farley had made a motion in last Thursday’s meeting, then, you could see Farley take a swig from a Corona Extra bottle. Now, many parents are calling for her resignation.
President Robert Everman says he didn’t see what happened during the meeting, but he did see the screenshots of her drinking something out of a bottle, although he still wasn’t sure it was a beer. However, Farley later apologized and confirmed that she was in fact drinking a beer and says it will never happen again.
