With Florida now past the 100-thousand case mark for COVID-19 and climbing, some Disney World workers are concerned about reopening the park.
The group of employees have started a petition asking executives to reconsider plans to reopen in July. As of yesterday, the petition had nearly four-thousand signatures.
While 78-thousand workers would restart their jobs, the concern among some is bringing in the guests. Disneyland in California is facing even harsher pushback as the workers there are also asking for a delay in opening.
Disney hasn’t commented.
