An Important Message for My Kids
Are you familiar with Kayden from Audrey Kell HS in Ballantyne? She’s a graduating senior, who’s also African American. She and some friends painted the rock in front of the school with a bunch of “Black Lives Matter” messages. She woke up the next day to find the rock had been vandalized. After she posted a message on Insta crying, the post went viral. She repainted the rock, and invited anyone who wanted too to come out and support her. I wanted my son to see the power of love, equality and community. So we dropped by for a few minutes. Dean thought it was important for his “Abominable Snowman” to see things too. Kayden called us the next day and shared her story.
