This Is Fate: Couple Gets Married 27 Years After Being Born Same Day In Same Hospital
Have a case of the Mondays? This cute love story may help cheer you up. Jessica Gomes and Aaron Bairos were set up by friends and discovered they were both from the same hometown, Taunton, Massachusetts. And they soon discovered they had something special in common – they shared the same birthday.
She didn’t believe him at first and thought he was trying to “pull a smooth one” to win her over, but after they compared IDs, she saw it was true. Having the same birthday is pretty rare for couples, but even more rare? Jessica and Aaron figured out they were born in the same hospital – on the same day – April 28th, 1990. Her grandmother saved a newspaper cut out with a hospital birth announcement showing they were the only two babies born at Morton Hospital on that day.
The couple hit it off, fell in love, and eventually got married. They say both sets of their parents think they were destined to be together. “Our parents thought it was hilarious,” Jessica explains. “They knew it was something special.”
I love this story because my husband Dallas and I grew up in the same city (Pittsburgh, Pa), worked for the same organization for 3 years, and never met each other. Then met in the Bahamas on my 21st birthday! So here’s to fate girl!
