McDonald’s Belmont Will Be Giving Gaston County Students Free Lunch
Charlotte & surrounding areas are really stepping up to the plate, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to show off our cities. Since Gov. Roy Cooper announced that all NC schools will be closed for the next two weeks, that probably scared a lot of parents who rely on the school provided meals for their children.
Well McDonald’s in Belmont is doing something about it. From now until March 27th (or extended depending on how long schools will be closed) – the chain restaurant will be offering students 12 years old or younger a free lunch.
Options include: a free plain cheeseburger, plain hamburger or 4-piece nugget and a small fry or apple slices.
Hours include: Monday – Friday, 11am to 1pm.

Since then they have announced that they have also come out with the decision that the dining room and Playplace will now be closed. They will continue to serve guests through drive-thrus and McDelivery with DoorDash and UberEats.
If you have a Gaston County student who needs lunch, please utilize their drive thru.
