Social Distancing Book Review | The Tattooist of Auschuwitz
One of my goals for the year of 2020 is to read more books, and what better time to read than when we are trying to promote social distancing. If you are still questioning the importance of social distancing…here is an amazing post that really helps you understand why it is important.
SO…with that being said, I’ve spent a lot of the time at the house this past weekend. It’s been great and one of those reasons why it’s been great is because I’ve finished a book I started earlier this year… The Tattooist of Auschuwitz.
The book documents a young man who was imprisoned at Auschuwitz in 1942, and is forced to tattoo numbers onto the arms of thousands of incoming prisoners. He sees the extremes of the situation and falls in love with another prisoner. It’s an extraordinary story, because it’s a true story.
It was an easy read, I was hooked since I picked it up.
I rate the book 5 stars out of 5 stars. I also ordered it on Amazon Prime for super cheap!
