bad dates

LONDON, ENGLAND – NOVEMBER 24: The “Tinder” app logo is seen amongst other dating apps on a mobile phone screen on November 24, 2016 in London, England. Following a number of deaths linked to the use of anonymous online dating apps, the police have warned users to be aware of the risks involved, following the growth in the scale of violence and sexual assaults linked to their use. Who knows you better than your best friend? Maybe your mom ... but letting her take over your dating profile might be a little weird.

Here’s a hot tip to avoid online dating burnout. Spread the pain around. You heard that right – instead of just you feeling the ups and downs of dating apps, bring your friends in on the fun!

Seriously...we’re talking about making wing-manning great again! Your friends know you, and they know what you’re looking for, so why not let them play matchmaker for you? Instead of just handing your phone over for them swipe around on Tinder for you when you’re hanging out, why not just go all the way and give them your account details. That way they can start helping you find love full-time like your own personal cupid.

Not comfortable with letting your friends see your juicy messages? No problem. There’s an app for that. The friend-swiping apps Wingman or Ship just dropped last year and are already taking off. Those let your friends make a profile for you and swipe on matches on your behalf. Saves you the time of drudging through bad profiles and gives your boo’d-up friends something to do!

What do you have to lose? A recent study showed 43% of online daters say their experience overall has been “negative.”

Plus, you always want your friends to like your bf so why not let them have a hand in picking who you date? Give it a shot!
