I love a good parenting hack that makes our lives easier and one mom is going viral for sharing her recent discovery. Jane Stine posted her “sticker hack” on Facebook last week and it’s been shared more than 100-thousand times so far and has other moms and dads wondering why they didn’t think of it sooner.
You know how kids always want “Paw Patrol” yogurt or Disney waffles? “Well, there’s now a solution for that. Bring your own stickers to the grocery store and start sticking!
The mom goes on to say her family was having “Winnie the Pooh” spaghetti squash, which goes perfectly with their “Toy Story” broccoli. She got the idea after buying a pineapple that had a “Frozen 2” tag hanging on it and after seeing her three-year-old son become more interested in the food as a result, she decided to give the stickers a try.
Since then, Stine has learned that science backs up her hack. A Cornell University study from 2012 found that kids were more likely to eat an apple at school if it had an Elmo sticker on it. My son Cashton LOVES stickers, so I am definitely trying this one out!
