Now, for my Mom Hack! Over the weekend, the show headed up to Beech Mountain to host their annual 80’s Weekend Costume Contest and Party. While we were there, there was an incident. There may or may not have been a fireplace fire that got a little out of control and filled the house with smoke. Of course, the house it’s self was fine but everything we own now smells like smoke. Clothes are an easy fix since you can just wash them, but what about Cash’s foam alphabet and lego’s? Am I going to have to disinfect each individual piece? Nope, I’m throwing those bad boys into the wash too! I have invested in Mesh Washable Laundry Bags!
So instead of having to clean all those pieces, one by one, I can zip them into the bag and wash them all at one time. This is also a great idea for flu season when toys come home from school or after germy playdates.
