Plaza Midwood’s Indoor Miniature Golf Course Is Now Open
I just recently moved into Plaza Midwood from South End, and it seems like I chose the perfect time! No matter where you live in Charlotte, it seems like there are new things opening weekly. That’s great news in my opinion but sometimes I get tired of the same old thing opening up. A bar is just a bar these days, but adding “something” to make it stick out is the win these days. Stroke, an indoor miniature golf course and mid century-modern lounge, is exactly that in Plaza Midwood!
Have you ever heard of Axe Club?
Well, if you’ve ever been you’ve probably gone again because of how fun and different it is. Good news, the couple that created Axe Club is the same couple who opened Stroke. Needless to say, they know what they are doing.
Stroke has a 9-hole putt-putt course. You can buy an annual membership for $10 and that includes one round of golf! If you’d like to play more rounds, it becomes $10 after the first. They also have food and booze!

A place like this is perfect for the winter time. It’s perfect for a date night…and quite honestly, it’s perfect for just about any occasion if you want to get out and about! Now that they’re officially open, Stroke’s normal hours are 4 p.m. to midnight Wednesday through Friday and 11 a.m. to midnight on Saturday and Sunday. Their address is 1318 Pecan Ave. Suite 101 in Plaza Midwood!
