We’re getting an early Christmas here in Charlotte. After months of speculation and back and forth, Charlotte is finally getting it’s MLS Soccer team. The announcement is coming today at 10 am, at the Mint Museum. David Tepper will reportedly pay 325 million for the team, that’s 62% more than other recent expansion teams.

Bank of America Stadium will need some upgrades before the team starts playing there within 2 years. They’ll add a center tunnel, clear some space for different camera angles, and will add 2 new locker rooms.
