While many of us may spend a lot of time trying to find the perfect gift for someone this holiday season, it turns out there are plenty of people who are more concerned about themselves when giving gifts to others. 74% of Americans have bought a “wegift” for someone over the holidays. A “wegift” is a gift that not only benefits the gift recipient but the gift giver as well. The average American actually plans to give four separate “wegifts” this year.
Some have even admitted to wanting to “wegift” their partner or spouse. You know who you are. Lingerie is not a gift for US guys! It’s a gift for you! Don’t think you are being so sly that the gift receiver doesn’t know what you’re doing. We see you!
So before you buy a gift that benefits you too, really think about the person you are buying for and ask yourself, “Is this for me or for them?”
