Whats The Secret To 75 Years Of Marriage?

If anyone knows about what it takes to make a marriage last, it’s Jim and Valerie Beall. The Destin, Florida couple recently celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary and they’re still going strong! And after three-quarters of a century, they know what it takes to stay together and to be happy.
So one thing that helps make a long, happy marriage is having a sense of humor. And Val adds that they’ve always gotten along, which has kept them in love for seven and a half decades. She also credits their longevity to their move from their home on Lake Erie to the Sunshine State in 2007.
The couple is still very independent and age doesn’t seem to be slowing them down. They do all their own cooking and work around the house and make time to see their five children, nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and three great, great-grandchildren. We should all be so lucky.
