3-Legged Dog Adopted By Iraq Vet Who Lost Leg Himself

We truly don’t deserve dogs.
It’s true. When you rescue a dog, they end up rescuing you.
A military vet in Tennessee adopted a dog who has more in common with him than he thought. Joshua Ferguson lost his leg after an IED explosion but tells Inside Edition that all five of him and his tank mates survived.
He adopted a three-legged dog named Scooter who had survived some rough conditions himself.
“He makes it easier for me to remember, hey it’s still a beautiful day,” Ferguson says of Scooter.
