It’s not a party where I come from until someone breaks out the chips and salsa!  I promise this will be the easiest, most delicious salsa you’ll ever make.


1 can diced tomatoes with green chiles (I used RoTel)

1 can Mexican stewed tomatoes (or just plain stewed if you can’t find the Mexican variety)

2-3 chopped green onions

1 handful of cilantro, roughly chopped

1 serrano pepper, seeded (if you like it super spicy, leave in seeds)

3-4 T chopped jalapenos pickled in a jar

2-3 cloves garlic, roughly chopped

1 T cumin

1 tsp. sugar

1 T freshly squeezed lemon juice


Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.  Serve with your favorite chips!
