It is no news that Billie Eilish has a different sense of fashion, which is different from the norm. From her baggy shirts to her oversized pants to tracksuits, you can tell that her style is unique. She revealed in Calvin Klein’s newest campaign, titled “I speak the truth in #myCalvins” that she wears baggy clothes to avoid judgments from people.
In her own words, “Nobody can have an opinion because they haven’t seen what’s underneath. Nobody can be like, “she’s got a flat ass,” “she’s got a fat ass.” No one can say any of that because they don’t know. This is cool because she has been able to inspire girls to be more comfortable in what they wear and that beauty is from within and not from a tight skimpy dress.
Billie Eilish has proven to us repeatedly that there are no rules in fashion. With her logo filled, oversized, over the top outfits, you can tell that she is a game-changer. Why fit in when you were born to stand out?
She recently broke the news of her clothing line, which is in collaboration with Freak City, an LA-based clothing brand. The clothing line features a limited capsule collection of 10 pieces of clothing inspired by the ’90s.
The collection, of course, includes oversized T-shirts, baggy shorts, sports bras, tube tops, and hoodies. Each cloth is engraved with graffiti inscriptions of the singer’s name and bold fonts that say, “I love Billie Eilish” “BILLIE FOREVER” “Baby Girl” among other phrases.
During her tour, she rocked graffiti-inspired outfits, so it comes as no surprise that her clothing line is a pure reflection of that.
The collection is available for pre-order on her website store, with prices ranging from $45-$145. The good thing about the pre-order is that, when you place an order for every item in the collection, you would be gifted her album “When We All Fall Asleep, Where do we go?” for FREE.
