Summer Activities That Are Cheap or Free!
If you’re not looking to spend a lot of money or money at all, these are the activities you should try!
- Camp in your own backyard: It’s yours already! So why not put up a tent in the backyard and get the fire going.
- Host a movie night without cable TV: Hulu and Netflix have so many good shows and movies, so why not invite friends over and have a movie night! You could do it while camping in your own backyard and have a sleepover.
- Check out your local library’s events: It’ll only cost you a library card to head to these events.
- Go swimming: Go to your neighborhood pool and invite some friends or check out the local rec center.
- Be a tourist where you live: You’ll never know what is in your town unless you get out and discover!
- Use free gym trials: If you want to get in shape but don’t have a gym, get free gym trials to different gyms in your area.
- Master a new sport: Get a team together and try out a sport you’ve never tried before!
- Make slime: This has been a trend for a couple of years. Look up online a slime recipe and get your ingredients!
- Photoshoot: Have a photo shoot with your friends in your town or neighborhood.
- Thrift shopping: Check out your local thrift shop and buy or donate your clothes!
