Demi Lovato Is Ready to Share ‘Her Side of the Story’ on New Album
Demi Lovato is ready to set the record straight on her upcoming album.
On her Instagram stories Tuesday, she revealed that she is excited to be open and share her side of the story through her music.
“You know what’s great about making an album? You get to say anything you want, be as open and honest as possible and finally tell your side of the story regardless of who might not like it,” she wrote.
Lovato didn’t go into specifics, but it seemed clear to her fans that she was referencing, at least in part, her overdose last July. Lovato has mostly kept a low profile since the July 28, 2018 incident, but has been focusing on self-care and recovery.
Now, as she gears up for her seventh album, it looks like she is ready to open up to fans, whom she has always let in on her journey to stay sober and emotionally stable.
It’s all part of what appears to be a huge comeback story for the singer and former child star. Earlier this year, she announced that she had signed with Scooter Braun, the man behind such mega-stars as Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.
Last week, Lovato shared a stunning selfie from the studio, revealing that she is “making magic.”
