Charlotte’s Neighbor Makes The List For Most Cat-Friendly Cities In The U.S
Redfin teamed up with Trupanion t0 determine the most cat-friendly city…and a Charlotte neighbor made the top-10 list!
A recent report said that Seattle, Washington is the number one dog-friendly city, but not everyone is a dog lover like myself, so Redfin teamed up with pet insurance company Trupanion to find the top 10 cat-friendly cities in the U.S. So all you feline lovers out there…this is for you.
They looked at over 250 cities in the U.S and it’s based on cat-like services like clinics, shelters and hospitals, as well as the percentage of homes for sale with cat-friendly features like high ceilings, an extra bathroom for their litter box, and patios so they can get some outside time.
Based on that data, Corvallis, Oregon was named the most car-friendly city, thanks to its easy access to veterinary care, low risk of outdoor environmental dangers, and favorable housing features. Here is the rest of the most feline-friendly cities to raise your cat.
- Corvallis, OR
- Spokane, WA
- Orlando, FL
- Bellingham, WA
- Tulsa, OK
- Raleigh, NC
- New York, NY
- Dayton, OH
- Clarksville, TN
- San Antonio, TX
We think Charlotte, NC should be on this list! With places like Mac Tabby Cat Cafe in Noda…Charlotte is becoming very cat-friendly! Not to mention, I definitely saw a cat on a leash not too long ago in a Plaza Midwood neighborhood!
