The Worst Opening Lines Women Have Received On Dating Apps
If you’re on a dating app chances are you might initially swipe right because of someone’s good looks but whether or not you actually join them for a date might depend on how the “opening line” goes.
On dating apps it’s hard to make a good impression, I mean…all you have are a few picture selections and hopefully some witty comments. Not everybody does well in the “opening line” department though. Some of these opening liners that women have shared with us are downright cringy and embarrassing. Here are some examples:
- “Girl you’re looking thicker than a bowl of oatmeal. What’s up!”
- “Are you from McDonald’s? Because I’m lovin’ it.”
- “I like onions, but the real question is will you make me cry?”
- “You look like my uncle.”
- “I want to paint you green and spank you like a disobedient avocado.”
- “Let’s run away together.”
It’s an art of creating that one liner that can make or break you on dating apps. First, think about it before you send it because it might be great in your head but when you look back it you realize what was I thinking.
