Ariana Grande Teams Up With Starbucks for Drink Collaboration

Ariana Grande is officially an ambassador for Starbucks’ newest drink.
The ‘thank u, next” singer teamed up with the coffeehouse on the new Cloud Macchiato, released Tuesday, March 5. The partnership came about as both Grande and Starbucks have been mutual fans of one another.
“We’ve long been fans of Ariana Grande’s (and we’re both fans of Clouds), so we’re excited to work with her to celebrate the debut of Cloud Macchiato,” Starbucks said in a statement quoted by USA Today.
The new Cloud Macchiato combines “The craft of Starbucks espresso, the heritage of Starbucks Caramel Macchiato (created in 1996) and the innovation of Starbucks Cold Foam, an airy microfoam frothed cold and blended until smooth, creating layers of creamy texture and flavor, without the cream.”

To celebrate the collaboration, Grande’s music will be incorporated into the stores’ playlists from March 9-15.
The Cloud Macchiato will permanently be available at Starbucks stores in Canada and the U.S. It is available in iced or hot in caramel and cinnamon flavors.
