Ariana Grande is being accused of the copyright of the song “Pretty Boy Swag” by Soulja Boy, with her new song “7 Rings.”
Soulja Boy called her out and accused her of copyright, tweeting, “Give me my credit. Period.” and calling her a thief. Most are saying the beat in her new song sounds like the sped up version of Pretty Boy Swag. There’s no word on whether or not Soulja is going to press charges.
Ariana Grande posted on Instagram, but the post has since been deleted, stating she was going to run away for a day or two because she couldn’t handle social media. Arianators are giving her a lot of support during the accusations, while Soulja Boy’s fans are bashing her.
