Dog Parent Hacks: DogSpot
There are some stores that don’t allow dogs inside, and we found the perfect solution.
This is either creepy or perfect, we haven’t decided yet.
The concept isn’t new, but they are expanding to more than a dozen cities in 2019. No word on if Charlotte is one of those cities, but we are all big dog people on the show so we knew we had to at least mention it.
DogSpot, formerly known as Dog Parker, is a Brooklyn based startup that makes sidewalk sanctuaries placed at the entrance of locations where dogs are prohibited. While dogs may be allowed in stores like Lowes or PetSmart, they’re not allowed in grocery stores, and retail shops. The technology-enabled dog houses serve as a safe, legal and convenient alternative to leaving dogs in cars. They feature heat and A/C, auto-sanitizing UV lights, an in-all Puppy Cam and 24/7 customer service, according to company officials.
We will keep you updated on if Charlotte becomes one of the cities they expand to! What are your thoughts on this? Creepy or perfect for dog owners? Tweet us! @theMRLshow
