Out With The Old, In With The New (AUDIO)
Today is the last day of work for our interns!
We have an awesome internship program here at the MRL Morning Show. Each intern has the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of radio and broadcasting.
This year, we’ve been blessed with two amazing interns: Justyce and Leire.
Justyce is a graduating senior at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She’s majoring in Communication Studies with a focus in Public Relations. She applied for this internship because she enjoys communications and writing. She has “truly enjoyed herself and learned a lot here at KISS.” She has always been interested in all things fashion and glam. Her future endeavors consist of working at her part-time job, saving money, and applying for fashion internships to gain more experience. Watch out Vogue, Justyce is coming your way!
For Leire, media has always been a passion. She will graduate on Saturday with a Bachelors of Arts in Mass Communications and a minor in French. At this internship, she has gained a lot of experience editing audio and blogging. Her writing skills have improved and she feels she can go out into the world knowing more about radio and how it works. This internship has taught her a lot about teamwork and dedication. Her future plans include gaining more experience, grad school, and hopefully one day… Good Morning America.
