Why You Shouldn’t Trust Your Friends’ Dating Advice
Some friends are better to turn to than others when it comes to advice.
People come from all kinds of backgrounds and personal experiences and your friends are no different. So you have to be careful on who you take advice from. It’s good to recognize what type of friends you have.
The “just-married friends” this person is in love and they will see love every where so don’t take what they say too seriously. The “I agree friend”, we all have one. No matter what they will agree with literally everything you say; so don’t expect to be getting much constructive feedback from them and just because they agree doesn’t mean its a good idea. The “Selfish friend”, they probably don’t ever like the people you date because it takes the attention and your time away from them. The “good friend”, this person will always be real with you. Harsh maybe but always real, so this is the one person you can trust with everything and know that they have your best interest in mind.
But also remember to take into account the dating life of the person your talking to. It might not be the best idea to ask advice from someone who just ended their relationship.
