How Much Should You Be Tipping For A Delivery?

We’ve tackled the question numerous times about how much you should ACTUALLY be tipping when you eat out at restaurants. The question of how much you should tip a delivery person has yet to been answered.. until today.
When the question was asked, Maney & LauRen both admit they typically tip $3-5 when they order delivery. Roy on the other hand tips a little more than that due to the complex nature of his apartment complex and what the delivery person has to do to actually get the food to his door.
Eater.com maintains that the minimum tip for food delivery should be $5.00. They say even if your order is under $25, tip at least $5.
