RAW. EMOTION.
In a semi-stripped down version, Kesha croons the words to her mega-hit “Praying,” and though the powerful build up of the instrumentals doesn’t translate as much as the studio content, the stripped down version reveals another grand thing that many people didn’t realize prior to this change: she actually can sing. She doesn’t need to auto-tune.
Around the 3-minute mark, the drums and instruments come in, and backup singers drop in.
And no, she doesn’t do that high note scream.
Welcome back, Kesha. Truly.
If Amy Cooper were a jelly doughnut, she would be a ‘Sarcasm-filled Doughnut.’
