The Trailer For ‘My Friend Dahmer’ Is Terrifying
The first released trailer for My Friend Dahmer is exactly as terrifying as you would expect it to be.
The film is, after all, based on the 2012 graphic novel by Derf Backderk about Jeffrey Dahmer; the serial killer who murdered seventeen men and boys between the years of 1978 and 1991.
Backderk’s novel tells the true story of his friendship with Dahmer in high school. Backderf is portrayed by Alex Wolff in the movie while Ross Lynch plays young Jeffrey Dahmer.
In the trailer, you can see how “odd” Dahmer is. You can also see the struggle he had making friends and the pressures he faced at home. We already know this won’t end well, but it’s still terrifying just to watch.
