The Most Expensive Selfie Ever…?
Because a picture is worth 1,000 words. Or in this case, $200,000.
Thanks to a lady who just had to “do it for the ‘gram”, a Los Angeles art exhibit is faced with $200,000 in damages. In an attempt to strike the perfect pose, the unidentified woman lost her balance, fell backwards into the display of The 14th Factory’s “Hypercaine” exhibit, and caused a domino effect of falling crowns and headpieces. As comical as it sounds, it was thankfully caught on tape.
Unsurprisingly, this is not the first time that a selfie attempt has cost someone a good sum of money. A woman in Brazil grabbed a shark for a selfie at an animal sanctuary; not only did she have to pay $6,442 for the environmental crime, but she also had to pay for stitches after the shark pup bit her hand.
