The New Most-Viewed Video On YouTube!
South Korean singer Psy held the title for years with his 2012 international hit “Gangnam Style”, but another video has finally broken the record!
With a staggering 2.895 billion views, Psy blew up the internet with his insanely-catchy hit five years ago and has steadily collected views on its music video on YouTube. Complete with the signature hook, “oppa Gangnam style”, it looked as if the record would never be broken; I mean, who could ever come up with something else worth 3 billion views? That question has finally been answered as the music video for Wiz Khalifa’s song, “See You Again”, featuring Charlie Puth, surpassed “Gangnam Style” with a reported 2.897 billion views. The song, featured in the 2015 movie Furious 7, has been slowly racking up views over the past two years, and will likely become the first video to surpass 3 billion views later this year. For now though, we can only wonder: which video will be the next to take the crown?
