This South Carolina sandwich shop has been deemed one of the best shops in the U.S. That’s right, someone gathered a list of the best sandwich shops in America and a Carolina favorite made the list. Not only is this local shop on the list, it came in at #8 which is pretty good on a list of 25.

Eat This, NotThat conducted research to find their top 25 sandwich shops in America. The list was curated by chefs naming their best and top sandwich shops across America. Who better to name the best places than those who cook for a living? Well, coming in at #8 is Lowcountry Cider and Superior Coffee in Beaufort, South Carolina.

The coffee shop is like no other and allows you to both drink and eat well during your visit. Get coffee, tea, baked goods, and gourmet sandwiches all in one spot. But, we’re here talking about sandwiches so what options does the menu have? Enjoy a breakfast cheddar biscuit, keto sandwich, or a breakfast brie croissant. One of their best sellers is the chicken salad croissant. It’s a chicken salad base topped with arugula. How does that sound?
