What is Clubhouse?
Clubhouse is supposedly worth $4 billion dollars led by venture-capital firm Andreessen Horowitz. Clubhouse invite-only exclusivity app began March of 2020 and after receiving my Clubhouse invite, never thought it would be as addictive as it was. In the first week I logged at least 10 hours a day, hopping from room to room. It’s all about listening and jumping on stage to contribute to the rooms that moderators create, and the beauty is, anyone can start a room. I adore Clubhouse because you can multitasking while tuning into people all over the world. As you encounter new connections, you can soft sell your products and services if your room offers value to the listener, but beware of directing someone to your website to buy if you’re not opening a room of valuable content.
If you’re an Android user, Clubhouse is rolling out a Beta version for you. Long story short, Clubhouse is an audio-based social media app. When you Google Clubhouse, the company describes itself as “a new type of social product based on voice, allowing people everywhere to talk, tell stories, develop ideas, deepen friendships, and meet interesting new people around the world.” Oh, and it’s worth mentioning that Clubhouse is not a dating app, and be aware of fake apps claiming to be the original Clubhouse.
