On Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 10 am until 2 pm, the campus of Oakdale Elementary School, is welcoming hundreds of families with young children to their signature event. This fun day includes local vendors, entertainment, and food options. Last year, in an effort to strengthen the ties between the school and neighborhood, the staff and Parent Teacher Association, in partnership with local barbershop Kingdom Kutz, reignited a past tradition of hosting a spring festival for students, families, and the Oakdale community. It was a success and they are hosting the second annual event on May 6th. Not only is this an opportunity to raise funds for their school, but also to nurture long-lasting relationships within our community and with business partners to further support the education of students.

Come on out because this event is open to the public. Wristbands can be purchased for children 12 and under to participate in fun games and activities. Other items such as food, paraphernalia, gifts, jewelry, etc. can be purchased directly from the vendors on-site. Music, face painting, bounce houses, food trucks, horseback riding, and their 360 booth situation will serve as just a peek into the fun that is waiting for us! Mark the calendars for Saturday, May 6, 2023, to plan some fun. There are opportunities to serve as a sponsor and vendor for this great cause or consider making a donation. Learn more here.
