‘Faces of Music’ Docuseries Features Barefaced Chappell Roan, Becky G and Victoria Monét
Sephora, in partnership with Digitas Pictures and Imagine Documentaries, produced a docuseries for Hulu starring Chappell Roan, Becky G and Victoria Monét. See the teaser trailer below.
What is Faces of Music About?
According to People, the docuseries “highlights the connection between beauty, music and identity.” In the trailer, we see barefaced Roan, Becky G and Monét before putting on makeup and getting ready for their performances. The three artists talk about how to create “a beauty look that has particular meaning for them as an artist” and “which cosmetic style and artistic purpose converge to create personas for each performer,” per the Faces of Music description.
In the trailer, we hear Roan, whose real name is Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, say, “Chappell is a version of myself that’s so bold and confident and hot.” Becky G added, “I feel my most sexy when I’m leaning into what is on the inside,” while Monét said, “It’s not about right or wrong; it’s about your truth.”
In an Instagram post by Billboard, fans are obviously excited to see the docuseries especially the powerful message behind it and how Roan, Becky G and Monét are still looking gorgeous even without makeup.
One fan wrote, “All 3 are still beautiful without makeup.” Another who’s obviously a fan of Roan (who isn’t?) commented, “They all look stunning and of course anything Chappell I immediately will watch.”
