Shrek Finally Has His Own Shoe
Shrek finally has his own shoe. The world’s most loveable Ogre for the last 20+ years is finally expanding his brand and venturing into a world that has never been the most comfortable for him. A world he knows nothing about, which you can tell just by taking one look at him. He’s dipping a swampy toe into the world of fashion and teaming up with a brand that also knows a little about swamps, sort of. Shrek has teamed up with Crocs and created what is currently the coolest footwear in the world. Google even shows a huge spike in searches and it was even a top trending search last week. So, how do you get your hands or feet into the most popular shoe in the world right now? Well, you can’t. At least not yet.
You don’t have to wait long to slide your disgusting Ogre feet into these lime-green swampy stompers. They will be officially released on Wednesday, September 13th. As you can see in the tweet below, they’re lime green with a fuzzy brown strap that looks as if it’s supposed to represent Shrek’s vest. They also come with Jibbitz which are accessories you can add to your Crocs. The rubber add-ons that come with the Shrek shoes are a set of ears and a nose. The timing of the release is perfect if you need a Halloween costume idea. The kid’s shoes will be priced at $50 and the adult sizes will be priced at $60.
